Free Diapers, Cribs, Car Seats and Baby Supplies Available for NYC Families in Need

Find out where to get free diapers and baby supplies in NYC. This guide provides resources for low-income families, regardless of immigration status.

Welcoming a new baby into your family requires a lot of preparation and supplies that can quickly become expensive. Thankfully, NYC is a city with lots of great resources for parents, such as the Cribs for Families in Need program and the NYC Baby Box program

Families of babies born at four NYC Health + Hospitals locations: Kings County in Brooklyn, Jacobi and Lincoln hospitals in The Bronx and Elmhurst in Queens will receive a “baby box” that contains diapers and other essential supplies.

Families that need a free crib can call 311 and say “cribs for kids” to be connected with assistance.
